Nancy A. Albright

MADISON - Nancy Ann Albright, aged 67 of Madison, passed into eternal life with Jesus, her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 19, 2022, surrounded by family. She was born March 28, 1955, in Madison, the daughter of Russell and Patricia Bates.

As a young girl, Nancy reveled in horseback riding and fashion, two passions she never outgrew. She received a cosmetology degree as a young adult and worked as a hairdresser and for an insurance company until the birth of her children when she became a devoted mother and homemaker. Her children were her pride and joy. She also loved Country and Motown music, karaoke, dance, interior design, fashion, and having a good laugh at herself. Nancy was also a zealous lover of animals, owning multiple pets throughout her lifetime.

Most important to Nancy was her relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. As a devoted believer she was prepared to begin her best life united with God and reunited with her lost loved ones.

Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Albright; former husband and father of her children, Ray Albright; and her father and mother, Russell and Patricia Bates. She is survived by her son, Adam Albright; sister, Kathryn (Thomas) Fields; her brother, Douglas (Terri) Bates; two grandchildren, Kamiah E Fields and Deja L Chandler; and other nieces and great nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held on January 12, 2022. A marker will be placed at Sunset Memory Gardens to honor her life, next to the markers of her daughter and the father of her children.
