Michael J. Borgwardt

Mike Borgwardt of Milton, WI passed away on Monday, September 30th at Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loved ones.

Mike spent 30 years at General Motors. He also enjoyed working for Wurtz Service Center as a Tow Truck Driver. In retirement, he worked part-time at Kwik Trip in maintenance and groundskeeping.

Mike always enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons Tim and John, as well as his grandchildren Joe and Betsy. He loved his grandchildren so much, and they have eternal love for their grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sharry Borgwardt. Son Tim Borgwardt Almond, WI. Son John Borgwardt as well as his wife Becky Edgerton, WI. Granddaughter Betsy Borgwardt Rochester, MN. Grandson Joe Borgwardt Edgerton, WI. Sisters Pat Pribble and Sam Silha Janesville, WI. Along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents John & Jeanine Borgwardt.

A special thank you to the wonderful nurses and staff in the ICU at Mercyhealth. As well as a huge thank you to Dr. Austin Wilson-Pillon, palliative care, and Dr. Kristine Arndt, internal medicine, at Mercy Hospital.
