Michael E. Severson

MARSHALL - Michael E. Severson, age 77 of Marshall, passed away at home on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 with his loving family and beloved dog Sadie surrounding him. He was born in the Township of Pleasant Springs, Wis., on Jan. 3, 1935. He was the son of the late Edward and Lorraine Severson. He was a graduate of Stoughton High School. He served in the Army National Guard. Mike worked at Perry Printing for 33 years, retiring in 1993. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Eugene Severson; and brothers-in-law, Dean Orcutt, George Bolender and Kenneth Stenulson, who was also a good friend. Mike is survived by his wife of 53 years, Georgia; two daughters, Cindy (Wayne) Chadwick and Christy Severson, all of Marshall; three sisters, Shirley Williams of Eugene, OR, Mary Lou Orcutt, of Tomahawk, Wis., and Beverly Bolender, of Cottage Grove, Wis.; two grandchildren, Chad (Jen) Chadwick and Brad Chadwick; and two great grandchildren, Gavin and Chiara; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Mikes' life will be held at ST. PAULS EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 204 Deerfield Rd., Marshall on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 beginning at 11 a.m. A luncheon at the church will follow the service. We would like to thank Agrace Hospice for the wonderful care Mike received from their nurses.
