Merlas B. Zacharias

MADISON - Merlas Zack Whaley-Zacharias, age 68, died of natural causes on Sept. 4, 2015 in Sun Prairie, Wis. She was born on Nov. 22, 1946 to Merton and Lylas Whaley. Merlas enjoyed gardening, crafts and spending time with her family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving person, a true friend, and an amazing mother to even those who were not her own. She is survived by her children, Julie Zacharias-Pulley, Vicki Zacharias, and Kevin Wendt; grandchildren, Taylen Pulley, Leah Pulley and Nick Lanham; sisters, Anna Jones and Dolores Mussey; and many nieces and nephews. Merlas is preceded in death by her son, James Whaley; and brother, Richard Whaley. All are welcome to attend a memorial gathering to celebrate Merlas life at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and the staff of Willows Nursing Home for all their care and support.
