Melissa Pflaum

MADISON - Melissa "Mel" Pflaum passed away at her home in Madison on Jan. 16, 2012. Melissa was born Melissa Leigh McCarthy on Sept. 8, 1975. She is the daughter of Linda McCarthy and the late Dennis McCarthy. Melissa is survived by her mother, Linda; and a maternal grandmother, Margaret Eithun of Madison; five children, Shyanne Burris and Samantha Tickle, both of Madison, and Mikala, Andrew and Allison Pflaum all of Sun Prairie; a sister, Stephanie McCarthy; brother, Paul Diehm; little brother, Michael; and several nieces and nephews and many friends. She loved to dance and spend time with her children. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at 10 a.m., at FITCHBURG CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CHURCH, 2924 Fish Hatchery Road, Madison.
