Maureen F. Johnson

SUN PRAIRIE, WIS./BISMARCK, ND – Maureen F. Johnson, age 74 of Sun Prairie and formerly of Bismarck, ND, went home to her heavenly father and reunited with her husband on Thursday, August 04, 2011. She was born March 17, 1937 in Herreid, SD, the daughter of Carl and Lydia (Biel) Rueb. She married LeRoy H. Johnson on August 18, 1956 in Bismarck, ND. Maureen is survived by four children, Alan (Jo) Johnson, of Gillette, WY, Mark (Barbara) Johnson, of Emporia, KS, Gayle Johnson, of Lake Mills, WI, and Lynn (Patty) Johnson, of Sun Prairie, WI; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Delbert (Lydia) Rueb, of Herreid, SD; brother-in-law, Philip (Dorothy) Johnson, of Sandy City, UT; sister-in-law, Evelyn (Vernon) Zelmer, of Bismarck, ND; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. A Celebration of Maureen’s life will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison, on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 7 p.m. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck, ND at a later date.
