Matthew Dean Peterson

Matthew D. Peterson, 72, of Evansville, died on Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. He was born in Hillsboro, WI. on April 12, 1943, the son of Lester and Bernice (Olson) Peterson. He worked in the circulation department of the Madison newspaper and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Matthew is survived by his daughter, Tina Peterson of Stoughton; and his sister, Sandra (Thomas) Hofbauer of Pewaukee. He is also survived by his niece, Ann (David) Biese and nephews, Michael (Ann) Key and Darin (Jamie) Key. Matthew is further survived by his special friends; Betty Steinhoff, Ed and Daeann Kufahl, and, Dalee and Phyllis Applebee. He was preceded in death by his parents.
