Mary Kay Short

MADISON - Mary Kay Santas Short, 69, passed away Thursday Dec. 18, 2014 at her home in Madison. She was born in Richland Center on July 9, 1945, the daughter of Henry and Helen Santas. On October 7, 1972, she married John Short, together the couple lived in Madison until John's death almost a year later. Mary Kay is survived by her daughter, Shirley Short and grandchildren, Zachary, Nikki, and Allison of Waterloo, Wis.; a sister, Verna (Dean) Dosch of Excelsior, Wis.; a sister-in-law, Janice Stayton of LaHabra, CA, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Mary Kay was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Junior Santas and Jack Stayton; and sister, Iva Sutton. A memorial will be held at a later date and will be announced.
