Mary K. Boese

Mary K. Boese, age 77, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at Mercy Hospital. She was born November 2, 1930 in Wayland, IA. She grew up in Lutheran Children’s Home in Muscatine, IA. Upon graduating from high school she was accepted on scholarship to St. Mary’s Mercy College in Iowa City, IA. She worked in the nursing field her entire career before retiring to Cedar Crest in 1994.Feeling the need to serve she worked at Cedar Crest Health Center. She was also employed at Health Net, in Janesville.She was also a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Janesville. Mary is survived by three nieces, one nephew, and special friend Shirley Smith. She was preceded in death by her mother Florence Taylor, one brother, and one sister. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Cedar Crest Chapel. Friends may call from 1:30 P.M. until time of service at the Chapel. All Faiths - Janesville, 1618 E. Racine Street, Janesville, WI will be handling the arrangements.
