APPLETON/MADISON - Mary H. Geborek, age 88, died peacefully Friday, June 3, 2016 at Artisans Assisted Living Center in DeForest, Wis. Mary was born on July 18, 1927, in Kinghurst, Minn. She was united in marriage to Theodore R. Geborek Sr. who passed away Feb. 4, 2001. She enjoyed camping, picnics, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Mary is survived by seven of her eight children, Ann Mann of Spokane, Wash., Ronald of Oregon, Wis., Karen of Madison, Wis., Theodore Jr. of Nichols, Wis., Melvin (Dorothy) of Sun Prairie, Wis., Thomas (Carol) of Mohawk, Mich., and George of Monona, Wis. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Geborek Sr., and son, Richard Geborek. A celebration and remembrance of Marys life is scheduled for Sunday, June 12, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 1318 Hall located at 133 E Lakeside St., Madison, WI 53715. All friends, jammers and family are welcome to attend. A burial service will be held in Appleton, Wis., at a later date.
