Mary Anderson

MADISON – Mary F. Anderson, age 81 of Madison, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2007 at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg following a brief illness. She was born Sept. 7, 1926 in Green Bay and raised by Charles and Anna (Dunn) Farley in Madison. Mary graduated from Madison Edgewood High School and attended Edgewood College. She married Karl Anderson at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Madison on July 26, 1947. Mary worked for Michael Best and Freidrich Law Firm of Madison for almost 20 years. She is survived by five children, Scott (Esther) Anderson, of San Diego, Debbie Anderson, Stacy (Peter Grant) Anderson, Rebecca Anderson, Jay (Vicki) Anderson, all of Madison; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother, Charles; and a son, Jeff. A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., on Friday, Sept. 28, 2007 at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The family would like to thank her work family, especially her friend Lou Jellings, for their support and friendship through the years.
