Marifrances Roth Joha

MADISON - Marifrances Roth Joha, age 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Oak Park Place Arbors. She was born on May 24, 1924, in Madison, the daughter of Carl E. and Frances M. Roth. Marifran grew up in Madison and was a life long resident of Maple Bluff. She is a graduate of Edgewood High School and Mount Mary College in Milwaukee. She was an avid tennis, golf and bridge player. Marifran's enthusiasm for life and bubbly personality will be surely missed by those whose lives she touched. Marifran was the adoring wife of 67 years to Robert Joha. She is survived by her very beloved husband, Robert J. Joha; nieces and nephews, Steve (Ann) Roth, Priscilla (Mike) Hahn, James Roth, Chuck (Andrea) Roth, Maggie (Dave) Mackey, Fran (Jeff) Nemeth and Jonathan (Joanne) Roth; and 15 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, William (Blanche) and John (Pam) Roth. A Celebration of Marifran's life for all those whom she touched will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at 12 noon at MAPLE BLUFF COUNTRY CLUB.
