Marie B. Davis

Cambridge - Marie B. Davis, age 69, of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at the HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg. She was born July 9, 1941, in Nashua, N.H., the daughter of Fred and Charlotte Lane of Merrimack, N.H. She married Dean Davis on March 17, 1988, in New Hampshire. Marie was an avid mountain climber in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She was a double transplant recipient and was an inspiration to all who knew her. Marie is survived by her husband, Dean; four children, Fred (Michelle) Davis of Weare, N.H., Julie (Donald) Marcotte of Lake Mills, Cedric (Diane) Davis III of Janesville, and Lynn (Real) McDuff of Weare, N.H.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Lussier of Epson, N.H.; a niece; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Road, Madison on Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
