Margherita "Rita" Miller

COTTAGE GROVE - Magherita “Rita” (Farino) Miller passed away peacefully at her home in Cottage Grove, Wis., on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at the age of 70 surrounded by her family after treatments. She was born November 25, 1950, in Madison, Wis., the first of three children. She will be remembered for the way she cared deeply and selflessly for those closest to her.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Farino and Ann (Palumbo) Farino; and her younger brother, Lawrence “Beach” Farino. She is survived by her second husband, Timothy Miller; her children, Trina (Erik) Luna (Lester), Ryan (Crystal) Lester, and Cassie Miller; grandchildren, Beatrice Luna, Matilda Lester, Elliott Luna, and George Lester; her youngest brother, Patrick Farino; and her cousin/“adopted” sister, Kathy (Joseph) Gunta (Olsen); along with many other family and friends.
