Marcelene Bentley

JANESVILLE - Marcelene Bentley, 89, of Janesville passed away on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 at her home. Marcelene "Marcy" was born to Nellie Samons in Malvern, Arkansas, on March 10, 1927. She was united in marriage to Richard W. Bentley on June 20, 1948 in Franklin, Kentucky. Marcy attended Davenport Central High School in Davenport, Iowa. She lived in Davenport, Iowa, Sterling, Illinois, Mt Morris, Illinois, and Rockford, Illinois before moving to Janesville to be closer to her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Richard; her children, Pamela E. Bentley of Columbus, Ohio, Beth Bentley Webb of Janesville, and David J. Bentley of Roscoe, Illinois. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Kellen Webb, Emily Webb Arthur, and Bert Webb. Per Marcys wishes no formal services will be held.
