Lowell Larson

JANESVILLE - Lowell Larson of Janesville, WI, passed away on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, peacefully in a Fort Atkinson nursing home. Lowell, the first child of three, was born April 20, 1934, in Menominee Falls, WI, to Sanford and Lorabelle Larson. He was predeceased by his second wife, Dorothy Moen, and his daughter, Rhonda Larson. During his marriage to Dorothy, they had two children, Greg and Rhonda Larson. Lowell attended school in Rural Mondovi, WI, and high school in Mondovi, WI. He worked hard in life as a farm hand in his early years and then as a Commercial truck driver. He also enjoyed the passion of being an auctioneer announcer. Lowell enjoyed spending time at the Janesville Senior Center playing in their pool tournament. He was a very talented pool player, with several trophies to his name. Lowell is survived by his wife, Larisa Larson; his two children, Greg (Janneta) Larson of Rogers, AR, and Linda Larson of Beloit, WI; grand-children: Aaron Ross, Michael Larson, Tyler Larson, Jessica and Chris; and three brothers: Loyal (Deloris) Larson of New Lisbon, WI, Kenny (Sally) Hageness of New Freedom, WI, and Keith (Yvonne) Hageness of Beloit , WI. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. May God bless the memory of Lowell Larson. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL HOME, 1618 E. Racine St., Janesville. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
