MADISON, WIS./ST. LOUIS - Louise Colombo Bryce - Fortified in the Blessed Sacrament on May 3, 2010. Louise was born and educated in St. Louis receiving a Master’s in English from Fontbonne College. She taught in Ladue and Parkway School Districts as well as tutored for over thirty years. After Louise retired, she volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital as well as the St. Louis Art Museum. She recently moved to Wisconsin to be closer to her family. She is survived by her son, David A. Bryce, M.D., daughter-in-law Barbara and three granddaughters, Luisa, Martha, and Kathryn.The family would like to thank HospiceCare of Dane County for respecting Louise’s wishes to remain at home with her family during her illness. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of Immacolata, 8900 Clayton Rd., St. Louis at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2010. A Mass will also be held in Louise's honor at the Carmelite Monastery at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Louise’s name to HospiceCare, Inc. 5395 E. Cheryl Pkwy., Madison, WI 53711 or the Carmelite Monastery, 9150 Clayton Rd., St. Louis, MO 63124.
