Lois I. Harrison

Lois I. Harrison, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the Care Partners Assisted Living in Eau Claire. She was born October 10, 1913 in Eau Claire to Orlando and Mary (nee Regli) Wood. Lois married D. James Harrison on January 13, 1940 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1974. She retired in 1970 after working 37 years at Uniroyal as a rubber worker. Lois is survived by a sister: M. Lorraine Strauch of Eau Claire, WI; three nieces; Donna Jackson and Janet Lybarger both of Portland, OR and Sharon (Daniel) McLaughlin of Eagle Point, WI; and a nephew: James (Mary) Harrison of Eau Claire, WI. Further survived by great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a sister, Ione McKnight. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff at Care Partners, Sister Catherine and St. Joseph’s Hospice for their loving care and devotion. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 20, 2008 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Eau Claire. Private interment will be held in Lakeview Cemetery.
