Lois E. Burdick

JANESVILLE - Lois Elaine Burdick passed away on September 8, 2017 at her home in Janesville, WI. The daughter of Lester and Marian Bratzke, Lois was born on May 7, 1938, in Porter Township. She attended Evansville schools, graduating in 1956. Lois married Jerome Jerry Burdick on November 17, 1956. Lois was employed by Rexall Drug store for 13 years, Rooftree Mgt. Co. for 26 years in property management, and Lutheran Social Services for 2 years; retiring in 2013. Lois is survived by her son, Steven (Tracey Thomas) of Hartford, WI, and her daughter, Linda Coy of Fort Atkinson, WI; three grandchildren, Michael Burdick, Angela Burdick and Melissa (Justin) Strohbusch; as well as 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Lorene (Harvey) Demanouske of Janesville, Dorothy Bratzke of Evansville, Stanley (Carol) Bratzke of Bellville, IL, Judy Bratzke of Evansville, and dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special moments spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren leave lasting memories. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Jerry; beloved brother, Don; son-in-law Herb Coy; and dear nephew, David Giese. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017, at 8:00 pm, at All Faiths Funeral Home, 1618 E. Racine St., Janesville. WI. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 6:00 pm until the time of services. Graveside services will be held at Cooksville Cemetery, Town of Porter, on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 1:00 pm.
