Lois A. Joyce

Lois Ann Joyce, age 74, passed away Friday, September 7, 2007 at Dove Healthcare Center. She was born July 12, 1933 in Eau Claire, WI to John and Florence (nee Nederoski) Bleske. A graduate of Chippewa Falls High School, Lois then went to work for Uniroyal in Eau Claire for 40 years until the plant closed in 1992. In 1953, she married Lawrence Joyce, and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church and was a member and the first President of VFW Post 7232 Women's Auxillary. Lois is survived by mother, Florence E. Bleske of Eau Claire, WI; a sister, Ladonna Stevens of Pleasant Prairie, WI; a brother, Jack (Carolyn) Bleske of Elk Mound, WI; her special, close friend, Lester G. Jenneman of Siren, WI; nad her lifetime friend, Charlotte Otto of Eau Claire, WI. Further survived by other relatives & friends. She is preceded by her husband, Lawrence Joyce; her father, John F. Bleske; and a brother, Bill Bleske. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 2502 11th Street, Eau Claire. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, on Wednesday at the church. Private interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated..
