On Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, a gentle hand took Lloyd Francis Tremain and guided him to a new home. Lloyd was born Jan. 8, 1943, in Mauston, to William M. and Antoinette M. (McIntyre) Tremain. He grew up on the family farm in Mauston and graduated from Madonna High School in 1961. He later graduated from MATC with an associate's degree in marketing. Lloyd married Mary Jean Stockfisch on Nov. 6, 1965. Three children were born to this union, Lisa, Tammy and Timothy. Lloyd enjoyed tinkering with cars, going to tractor pulls, class reunions and dancing to "Proud Mary" every chance he could. Surviving Lloyd is his wife, Mary Jean Tremain; daughter, Lisa Sebranek of Columbus; daughter, Tammy (Kelly Rehwoldt) Tremain of Marshall; son, Tim Tremain of DeForest; a grandson, Noah Sebranek of Columbus; and two brothers, William (Carol) Tremain of Arizona, and Stephen (JoAnn) Tremain of Waunakee. Those who left this earth before him include his mother, Antoinette; his sister, Helen Mary Johnson; his grandmother, Phoebe Tremain; and his father, William Tremain. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
