Lillian Elizabeth Westbury

MADISON - Lillian Elizabeth (Schneider) (Carpenter) Westbury, of Madison, died peacefully on Feb. 27, 2017 at the age of 70. She was the daughter of the late Alice Elizabeth (Wolfe) and Phillip Carl Schneider. Born in Columbus, Ohio. She was raised in Lancaster, Ohio and graduated from Lancaster High School with the class of 1964. She moved to Wisconsin in 1992. Lillian is survived by her husband of 23 years, Raymond Douglas Westbury; her daughter, Zoe (David) Kraft; son, Jonathan (Pamela) Carpenter; and step-daughter Renee (Zachary) Rieskamp; two sisters, Alice Nicolia Waits and Phylis (Stuart) Garrick both of Ohio; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 22 years, Dwight William Carpenter; and several aunts, uncles and friends. A Celebration of Lillians Life will be held at CALVARY GOSPEL CHURCH, 5301 Commercial Ave., Madison on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 beginning at noon. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will follow the service and all are welcome to attend.
