Leo Vogel

Janesville/Milton - Leo Vogel, age 83, passed away August 21, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 21, 1928 in, Springfield, Minnesota, to William and Anna (Finger) Vogel. Leo served in the United States Army during World War II. Leo worked at General Motors for thirty years. Leo is survived by his children, Cheryl (Nick) Schroeder, of Janesville, WI; Kathi Vogel, of Milton, WI; grandchildren, Brent (Jennifer) Vogel, of Janesville, WI; Jennifer (Tony) Muth, of Janesville, WI; Justin (Emily Walhovd) Schroeder, of Janesville, WI; Kristina (Aaron) Janke, of Beloit, WI; Jason Sutherland, of Edgerton, WI; Jessica (Michael) Ottesen, of Neshkoro, WI; Monico (Hailey) Bernal, of Machesney Park, IL; one brother, Andrew Vogel of Springfield, MN; three sisters, Rosella Groebner, of Springfield, MN; Anna (Melvin) Polzine, of Bellview, MN; Cicilia Wersal, of Sleepy Eye, MN; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his previous wife Shirley Vogel- Homan, three brothers, and two daughters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M at Milton Lawns Memorial Park in Janesville on Friday, August 26, 2011 .
