Lenore M. Gusse

MADISON - Lenore M. Gusse, age 97 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Oakwood Village Nursing Home. She was born January 2, 1917 the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Layher) Buehner in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She married Melvin E. Gusse in 1937. Lenore loved antiquing, painting with friends, cooking, canning, sewing, playing cards and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughters Phyllis (Carl) Knuth and Mary Gusse Sanchez, and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Melvin, infant daughter Sandra, and son Ron. A private burial will be held at Rienzi Cemetery in Fond du Lac. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lenore’s name can be made to Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E. Cheryl Pkwy., Madison, WI 53711.
