Lee Allen Austin

JANESVILLE - Lee Allen Austin, 75, of Janesville, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Mercy Hospital. Born in Waukesha, Wisconsin to William and Marion Austin. He lived most of his life in Janesville. Lee was a zealous man who pursued many interests. He worked as a roofing contractor for many years, but his passion was connecting with people and sharing the love of God. Lee was always giving of his time, talents, and resources to people and various ministries. His hobbies included anything having to do with diesel engines, biking, inventing, and being active. Lee was extremely proud of his five children Chad (Linda) Austin, Dawn (Randy) Lawrence, Cong Nghiem, Jon (Wanda) Austin, and Emanuel Austin and his eight grandchildren. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, sisters Marita (Scott) Wilkins and Jeanette (Harold) Myra, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife (Sharon Austin) and his parents (William and Marion Austin). The family will welcome friends and family at CITY CHURCH, 4909 E. Buckeye Rd., Madison on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. for visitation, 11:00 a.m. for the funeral service, and will be followed by a luncheon.
