He is survived by his wife, Barbara Truitt; former wife, Linda Truitt of Waunakee; brother, Don (Carol) Truitt of Canfield, Ohio; children, Chris (Holly) Truitt of DeForest, Sarah Truitt of Denver, Colo., and Lisa Truitt of Orlando, Fla.; nine stepchildren, Patty Hardin of Delmar, Iowa; Becky Robinson, Debbie Robinson, Chrissy Robinson, Jerry Robinson, Buck (Deb) Robinson, and Brad Robinson, all of Savanna, Ill.; Jodi Robinson of Clinton, Iowa, and Bill (Angie) Robinson of rural Maquoketa, Iowa; as well as grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-nieces and nephews. A celebration of Larrys Life will be held at WESTWOOD CHRISTIAN CHURCH, 5210 Odana Road, Madison, WI 53711 at 10 a.m. on April 7, 2018. An informal potluck will follow at 6 Whitcomb Circle, Madison, WI 53711, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. A special thank you to doctors and staff at St. Marys Hospital and SSM Health of Madison, Wis., who took Larry in as one of their own and provided personal care.
