Lawrence A. Favero

JANESVILLE - Lawrence A. Favero, age 70 of Janesville, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007 at Victory Medical Center in Waukegan, Ill. Larry was born Dec. 2, 1936 in Ironwood, Mich, the son of Santo and Rose Favero. After graduating from Hurley High School, he entered the U.S. Navy, where he served until his discharge in 1959. He married Philomine Douthitt, on June 30, 1979 in Woodstock, Ill. After several years of working for Dana Corp., Larry retired. He later drove school bus for the Janesville School District. Larry loved fishing, working on small motors, and enjoying good meal. Larry is survived by his wife, Philomine; 3 step-children, Martha (Ruben) Rodriguez, of McHenry, Ill., Joyce (Archie) Hall, of Alden, Ill., and James Douthitt, of Janesville; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great grandson. Funeral services for Larry will be held at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1618 E. Racine St., on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 3 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
