MOUNT HOREB - Laurence J. “LJ” Dickson, of Mount Horeb Wis., passed away unexpectedly, at the age of 27, on Sunday November 8, 2020. Laurence grew up in Madison, Wis., but enjoyed spending time in Sauk City where his dad grew up, with his grandparents and his Aunt Paula. Laurence enjoyed wrestling for Mount Horeb/Barneveld while in high school. Laurence was a generous young man always ready to give his time to the ones around him. Laurence found great joy in working with the elderly, often donating his time to help them move, or run errands. He had a passion for reading and was well read in many subjects; some of his favorites being History and Japanese culture. Since he was a small child, Laurence had a great personality allowing him to talk to anyone of every generation. His intelligence allowed him to make friends and conversation wherever he went. Laurence was a loving uncle, brother, and son; he often enjoyed spending holidays playing with his niece and nephew, along with long conversations with his brothers. Laurence was preceded in death by his father, Tim; and grandparents, Bob, Delores, and Russell. He is survived by his mother, Stacy (Zach); his brothers, Kyle and Daniel (Heidi); nephew, Liam; niece, Kaleah; his grandmother, Betty; his Aunt Paula; his Aunt Jackie; and many other family members and friends.
