Laura A, Spink

Laura Anne Spink, 53, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. She was born on March 25, 1971, in Madison, Wis.

Laura grew up in Oregon, Wis., where she attended high school and proudly competed in the Miss Oregon competition in 1987. After graduating, she pursued a career in the electrical trade and became a valued member of the Local 159 Electrical Workers Union. In 2005, she took her passion a step further by founding her own business, Laurie Electric.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Heather Killerlain; her parents, John and Paulette Spink; her sister, Kristina Woodburn; and her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Payton, and Dominic. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Schulenberg, and her son, Michael Spink.

A celebration of Laura’s life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at THE MAPLE TREE, 6010 US Highway 51, McFarland. Friends and family are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to her daughter, Heather, to provide support during this difficult time.
