Kimberly M. Schwab-Schaberg

DEFOREST - Kimberly Mary Schwab-Schaberg, age 58 of DeForest, Wis., passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.
She was born on June 25, 1964, in Kansas City, Kansas, daughter of Dennis H and Lee M Schwab. Kimberly married Mark Schaberg on July 14, 1990, in Stevens Point, Wis.

Kimberly worked in insurance claim management for many years. She loved bringing co-workers over to her home on Fridays to celebrate a week well worked. She cultivated togetherness and was the first to express excitement about family get-togethers. Her home was the touchdown space for dozens of neighborhood kids over the years because of her warm and welcoming spirit. Kim loved music, Christmas, and gathering around a fire. She was quick to laugh and would go to great lengths to help people, always having an open door and a warm place to sleep for family and friends in need.

Kimberly is preceded in death by her brothers, Jeffrey Schwab and Craig Schwab. She is survived by her husband, Mark Schaberg; children, Rebecca Lauren Schaberg and Samuel Anthony Schaberg; father and mother, Dennis and Lee Schwab; siblings, Mark Schwab, Paul (Sue) Schwab, and Jill (Michael) De Beck; as well as nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Kimberly's life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711.
