Kevin Patrick Jensen

DEFOREST – Kevin Patrick Jensen, age 56 passed at the VA Hospital, Madison on June 29, 2010. Born Oct. 24, 1953 to Fred and Viola (Harris) Jensen of Baraboo. He served in the U.S. Army Airborne during Vietnamand later in Mannheim, Germany. He previously worked for Milwaukee Valve and Quality Machining, but most recently worked in the shipping department at American Girl in DeForest. Kevin married the former Ann Wiatrok on June 5, 1993 in Baraboo. He was an avid Packer, Badger and NASCAR fan, especially Jeff Gordon. He liked fishing, shooting pool and spending time in the backyard around the fire pit. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Ann; step-children, Becky , Cass, and Lindsy Wiatrok, all of Baraboo, Todd (Sheila Konichek) Wiatrok, of DeForest; step-grandchildren, Kyla and Nathan Wiatrok, of DeForest; son, Michael Pierce, of Mauston; brothers, Fred (Carolyn) Jensen, of Rochester, MN, Darrell Jensen, of Logansport, IN, Robin Beekly, of Fort Wayne, IN; a sister, Vicky (Tom) Smith, of Logansport, IN; father-in-law, Jr. Sprecher, of Leland, WI; sisters-in-law, Amy Sprecher, of Leland, WI, Mary Lou Jensen, of Braidwood, IL; brother-in-law, Dr. Mark (Colleen) Sprecher, of Custer, WI; several nieces, nephews and friends in the Baraboo and DeForest area. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Steven Jensen; and a sister, Beverly Patterson. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at TIMBERS, DeForest, on Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
