Kay F. Higginbotham

Janesville-Kay F. Higginbotham-Brown, age 61, passed away August 24, 2006 at UW Madison Hospital. She was born September 14, 1944 in Cudahy, Wisconsin to Charles and Alvina Maly. She married the late Cecil Higginbotham on February 18, 1961 and then married Leroy Brown in March of 1982. Kay was very caring, always doing things for others; she loved to cook, bake, fish, deer hunt and camp. She was employed at Norwood Mills and Data Shop in Milton and Janesville. Kay is survived by her father Charles (Naomi) Maly. She will be missed by her 3 children; Eugene Higginbotham of Silver Lake; Kandy (Jim) Heaton of Hanover, WI and Heidi (Bob) Begolke of Janesville. She will also be greatly missed by her 6 grandchildren Heather (Don) Higginbotham, Kassandra, Krystal and Kelsey Heaton, and Rebekkah and Natalie Begolke and her 2 great grandchildren Aaliyah and Xayvion; six sisters; Carol (Art) Chitwood, Muscoda, WI; Peggy (Ron) Mellem, Richland Center, WI; Susan (Jack) Wilson, Cazenovia, WI; Mary (Jeff) Pulvamacher, Richland Center, WI; Pam (Pat) Bowlin, Lone Rock, WI; Bunny Drone, Richland Center, WI; and one brother Stewart (Nancy) Maly, Richland Center, WI. She is further survived by many, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband Cecil, her mother Alvina and a brother Butch Maly. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M.(noon) on Monday August 28, 2006, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel 1618 E. Racine St. Janesville. Burial will follow at Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M until time of service at the funeral home. A memorial fund is being established in memory of Kay. All Faiths - Janesville, 1618 E.
