Kathryn Ann Havens, 88, of Baldwin, formerly of Eau Claire, died on Sunday, March 25, 2007. She was born on November 25, 1918, in Eau Claire to Paul and Mary (nee Beecher) Sippel. Kathryn attended nurses training at Viterbo College in La Crosse, Wis., and became a registered nurse. On February 17, 1942, she married William H. Havens in La Crosse. He preceded her in death on November 29, 1984. Survivors include three children, Dianne (Mick) Daniels of Coon Rapids, Minn., Steven (Debra) Havens of Hammond, Wis., and Paula (Lloyd) Holden of Hudson, Wis.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a very special friend and “sister,” Jeanne Harkness; and a very special friend and caregiver, Kenneth Novak of Eau Claire. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Kay Misura. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 448 N. Dewey Street, Eau Claire. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, March 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Service, 1405 N. Clairemont Avenue, Eau Claire, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service. Further visitation will be held one hour prior to services at church.
