Kathleen A. Stewart

PORTAGE – Kathleen A. Stewart, age 57 of Lewiston Township near Portage, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the Ellen and Peter Johnson HospiceCare Center surrounded by her family. Kathy was born July 24, 1949 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Robert J. and Betty Doughty. Kathy was a Certified Nursing Assistant, and cared for people for many years. She was a loving mother, sister and fiancée. She enjoyed gardening, canning, fishing, reading and spending time with her family and friends. Kathy is survived by her fiancée, Richard Rowe; a sister, Judy (Pat) Doyle, Madison; two children, Shannon and Shane Stewart and their father, Sam, all of Ohio; step-mother, Marge (Earl) Karowsky; of Florida; brother-in-law, Terry (Sue) Stewart, of Ohio; nieces and nephews, Bob and Jenny Doyle, of Madison, and Damon and Devin Stewart, of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents. Private family services will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the wonderful people at Divine Savior Hospital, U.W. Hospital, and the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center, for all their care and concern. She was a wonderful mother, lover and friend, cherished by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family.
