Kathleen A. Specht

DEFOREST – Kathleen A Specht, age 67, of DeForest, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 15, 2022, at her home. She was born in Madison on Jan. 15, 1955, to Thomas and Eulalia “Tiny” (Coyle) Meuer. Kathy was always a very happy person with an infectious laugh and smile. She worked at the Credit Bureau of Madison (now known as Trans Union) for 32 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially her grandkids. She also loved to travel to St. Germain, Wis. since she was a little girl. Kathy is survived by her husband, Gordy of DeForest; her daughter, Toni (Darren) Kersten of Marshall; her son, Jeremy (Tonya) Specht of Waunakee; her grandkids, Julia, Trent, Hailey, and Savannah Kersten and Camryn and Jordyn Specht; her brother, Tim (Peggy) Meuer of Pardeeville; her sister-in-law, Lois (John) Lisi of Madison; nieces, Amy (Joel) Kuenzi of DeForest and Krissy Meuer of Gardnerville, Nev.; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Eulalia. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Services of Madison is assisting the family.
