Julie T. Werdin

January 15, 1959 - May 14, 2009 Julie T. (Vogel) Werdin, 50, departed this earth on May 14, 2009, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Janesville on Jan. 15, 1959, daughter of Leo and Shirlee Vogel. She was employed several years by Centurion Products, Wisconsin Vault, and in more recent years by Seneca Foods, Janesville. Julie will be fondly remembered for her true love of life, spending time with her family, sitting by the fire, and playing the slots. She truly touched the hearts of all who knew her. Julie is survived by her love and life partner, Terry Scheetz; her children, Brent Vogel of Janesville and Kristina (son-in-law, Aaron) Janke of Beloit; special grandchildren: Miranda, Devon, and Peyton; her father, Leo Vogel; sisters, Kathi Vogel and Cheryl (Nick) Schroeder; nieces, Jen and Jessica; nephews: Justin, Jason, and Monico; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; a sister, Brenda; and grandparents. Your time on earth, with us, was taken away today. We should not be sad, but happy you are no longer in pain. You are now in the hands of the Lord, and we shall meet again. Thank you for being our love, our strength, and most of all -- our true inspiration. We love you! A visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2009, at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL HOME, 1618 E. Racine St., Janesville, WI, and again at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, until time of service at 11 a.m., at MILTON LAWNS MEMORIAL PARK, 2200 Milton Ave., Janesville.
