Joyce J. Lemke

February 2, 1942 - December 25, 2008 Joyce Joanne Lemke, 66, passed away Dec. 25, 2008, in Evanston, IL. She was born on Feb. 2, 1942, the daughter of Harold and Inez (Blunk) Pingel, in Cherokee, IA. She graduated from Waterloo High School in Waterloo, WI. On June 21, 1963, she was united in marriage to Everett James Lemke. Joyce was a devoted employee of Dean Riverview Clinic for many years until her retirement in 2007. Joyce will be dearly missed by her three children: Kelli (Michael) Wolff of Janesville, Keri (Thomas) Bevan of Evanston, IL, and Christopher (Meghan) Lemke of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren: Chelsey (18), Carley (16), Haydn (14), Jacob (9), Kiel (6), Abigail (5), Drew (18 mos.), and Camille (1 wk.); two sisters, Janelle (Glenn) Soldner and Jan (Steve) Raue; brother, Jeff Pingel; and sister-in-law, Alice (John) Pingel. She was greeted at her eternal home by her husband; mother; father; and brother, John Pingel. Joyce will be remembered by all for her many endearing qualities, especially her quick wit, strength, and her loving devotion to family. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1818 E. Racine St., Janesville.
