Jovanni J.M. Dimaggio

OREGON - Jovanni J.M. DiMaggio, age 26 passed away unexpectedly in an automobile accident on Sunday, May 22, 2016. He was born Aug. 6, 1989, in Long Beach, Calif., to Greg and Brenda DiMaggio. In 1991 Jovanni and his parents moved back home to Oregon, Wis. On June 7, 1992, Jovanni became a big brother to Vince T. DiMaggio. Jovanni and Vince were very close and loved their Golden Retrievers. Jovanni was very active in Youth Hockey and loved to hunt and fish, but his true passion was cars and racing. Jovanni loved to spend time with his family and friends, but especially his uncles. Jovannis infectious smile will never be forgotten. Jovanni is survived by his mother, father, brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles and many friends. He is now at peace with his Heavenly Father and many family and friends who have gone before him. Rest in peace Jo till we meet again. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at HOLY MOTHER OF CONSOLATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 651 N. Main St. Oregon.
