John E. Metzger

BARNEVELD John Eugene Metzger, age 62, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016. He was born in Florida on July 1, 1954, the son of William and Jeanne (Gorman) Metzger. John was raised on the east side of Madison and graduated from East High School in 1972. He worked as a glazier for many years with various glass companies until retiring last year. He married Vicki Darnell on Nov. 5, 1999. In addition to his wife, Vicki, John is further survived by a brother, Chris Forbes; a daughter, Elizabeth Antes; and a step-son, Michael Soehle. He was preceded in death by his parents.
