John B. Stadler

John Stadler John B. Stadler, age 77, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2007, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born April, 1, 1930, in Marshfield, Wis. to George and Mary (nee Raeder) Stadler. He grew up in Marshfield where he married Donna Mittermiller on October 14, 1950. John served his country during the Korean Conflict by serving in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. He and Donna moved to Eau Claire in 1953, where he became a Journeyman Plumber. He was a member of St. James the Greater Catholic, the Knights of Columbus and Plumbers and Steamfitters, Local #385. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Donna Stadler of Eau Claire, Wis.; four children, Steven (Nancy) Stadler of Fall Creek, Wis., Julie Stadler of Brandon, S.D., Paul (Karla) Stadler of Omaha, Neb., and Daniel Stadler of Eau Claire, Wis.; six grandchildren, Samantha, John, Mason, Megan, Leslie and Arielle Stadler; four sisters, Mary (Clem) Dachelmeyer of St. Paul, Minn., Gertrude Stadler of Marshfield, Wis., Ruth Alice Shookman of Marshfield, Wis., and Bargara Love of Park Forest, Ill.; a brother, David Stadler of Marshfield, Wis. Further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary (nee Raeder) Stadler; and a brother, William Stadler. A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 2502 11th Street, Eau Claire. Interment will be held privately. Friends may call on Wednesday, at the church, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Service, 1405 N.
