Joan M. Scheible

MADISON - Joan Scheible passed away peacefully in Madison, Wis., at the age of 57, on April 8, 2016. She was born in Green Bay, Wis. on Nov. 15, l958 to Bernard and Dorothy Scheible. Joan received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis and her graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the area of fine arts. Joans career was primarily in the restaurant business, working at the Barbers Closet, Fyfes Corner Bistro and as the owner of The Stamm House in Middleton. She was most recently employed at Erins Snug Irish Pub in Madison. In her spare time, she enjoyed working on her various art projects. Joan will be fondly remembered for her artistic talents, spunky personality, great smile, and wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed beautiful sunsets and appreciated all areas of the fine arts. Joan will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Joan is survived by her three siblings, David (Michele) Scheible of Neptune, N.J., Linda Nadolske of Oshkosh, Wis., and Rick (Donald) Scheible of Venice, Calif.; niece, Jessica Scheible of Los Angeles, Calif.; special friend, Kevin Viney; and numerous friends. Joan was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Fr. Alan Scheible. A special thank you is extended to the staff at Agrace HospiceCare for their compassion and the excellent care they provided to Joan. A celebration of Joans life will be held at a later date.
