Jerry R. Hoffer

MADISON – Jerry R. Hoffer, age 75 of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013. He was born in Madison on July 9, 1937, the son of August and Hazel (Black) Hoffer. After graduating from Monona Grove High School, Jerry entered into the U.S. Army Reserve. He married Judith Clark on April 15, 1961. Although they would later divorce, they remained close. He is survived by three children, Lisa Lynch, Linda Hansen and Jim Hoffer; a sister, Joyce (Ivan) Morrow; a brother, Richard (Luann) Hoffer; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Darrel and a grandson, Chad. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4058 Lien Rd., Madison on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, beginning at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
