BLUE MOUNDS, WIS. - Jerry David Bonner, age 73 of Blue Mounds, Wis., died at his home on Monday, May 10, 2021, surrounded by family. He was born in Middleton on July 15, 1947, to Harry Bonner and Dora Starczynski. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Jerry served honorably in Viet Nam while stationed on Hill 55 in Da Nang and later at the Khe Sahn combat base. Survivors include his children, Stephanie and Ryan; sister, Darlene Holzwarth of Cross Plains; James Bonner of Madison; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beverly Nichols and brother, Chuck Lybek. Heartfelt thanks to Pam Johnson, Darlene Holzwarth, Penny Bonner, Tim Durrer, Keith Bonner, the amazing staff at Agrace HospiceCare, and numerous friends and family who reached out with prayers and support. Celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at Kalscheur Park in Pine Bluff on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from noon to 4 p.m. with military honors scheduled at 2 p.m. All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Services of Madison is assisting the family.
