Jerome R. Ballweg

VERONA - Jerome R. Jerry Ballweg, age 74, passed away at the Agrace HospiceCare on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, surrounded by his family. Jerry was born on April 10, 1942 in Waunakee to Sylvanus and Charleen (Sutcliffe) Ballweg. He enjoyed family gatherings and especially time spent with his grandchildren. He liked auctions, good bargains, gambling and road trips with Barb. Jerry is survived by his long-time best friend and companion, Barb Jacoby; his children, Dan Ballweg and Jackie Piglet (Jason) Foulk; grandchildren, Jerome (Danielle) Ballweg, Jessica (Morris) Hermanson, Jamie Ballweg, Jacob, Jenna and Jaden Foulk; and three great-grandchildren with one on the way. He is also survived by his siblings, Linda Wille, Earl Ballweg, James (Norma) Ballweg, Kathy (Reed) Wells, Joseph (Phyllis) Ballweg, Suzie Ballweg, and Debbie (Dan) Graffin. Survivors also include many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a special friend, Larry Coy. Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Janice; daughter-in-law, Lynn Ballweg; siblings, Eva Wells, Terry Monson, Dick Ballweg, Joan Murphy and Tom Ballweg. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at VFW POST 9362, 349 S. Walker Way, Sun Prairie.
