Jerome Donald Hargraves

SUN PRAIRIE Jerome Donald Hargraves, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 24, 2016. He was born in Oshkosh on June 12, 1927, the son of William and Viola (Geisler) Hargraves. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion for 56 years. He graduated in 1950 from UW-Madison School of Pharmacy and operated Hargraves Rexal Drugs in DeForest for 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Shirley (Lund) Hargraves; a son, Donald Hargraves; two daughters, Vickie Huppeler and Dena Rank; and a grandson, Spc. Taylor Rank, U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Eugene (Phyllis) Hargraves and Nate (Ruth) Hargraves; and a son-in-law, John Huppeler. At his request, there will be no visitation or services and burial will be private at a later date. Memorials in Jeromes name can be made to Christ Lutheran Church, DeForest.
