Jefrey John Waydick

SAUK CITY Jefrey John Waydick, age 36, of Sauk City, Wis., passed away in his home on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016. Jeff was born in Madison, Wis., on Sept. 13, 1980 to Joan Lester and John Waydick. Jeff grew up between Madison and Pensacola, Fla. He attended MATC in Madison where he studied to become an electrician. Jeff loved to play his guitar and liked a wide variety of music. He also enjoyed being with his family and friends. But what he loved the most was spending time with his children, who meant everything to him. Jeff is survived by his parents, Joan Lester Schmidtke and John (Sheila) Waydick; step-dad, Kendal (Fran) Schmidtke; wife, Sabrina Waydick; children, James Jim Jim Waydick, Joseph Joe Joe Waydick and Caitlynn Caitie Barton; brothers, Benjamin and Samuel Schmidtke; and a sister, Sarah Waydick. Jeff is further survived by his long-time friend, David Ophime; paternal grandpa, Jim (Jan) Waydick; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his beloved Grandma Lester; Grandma Buddy Betty; uncle, Nathan Lester; good friend, Angela Larson; and his best friend and mother to Jim Jim, April Davis. A memorial service will be held at GRACEWAY CHURCH, 65 Thirteenth St., Prairie du Sac, on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 beginning at 11 a.m. with a lunch to follow. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The family would like to thank GraceWay Church and Jeffs many friends there for their friendship, fellowship and support during Jeffs life. He loved them and found great comfort with them all.
