Janie Narvaez

MADISON Janie Narvaez, age 79, passed away at her home in Madison on Thursday, July 12, 2018. She was born May 23, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Frank and Sabina (Mendez) Castillo. She married Guadalupe Narvaez in September of 1957, in Texas. Janie loved to spend her free time relaxing, doing puzzels, reading books, doing word searches, dancing, and just enjoying life in general. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Alcorta; and her son, Gilbert Narvaez; along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Janie was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and her husband. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 401 S. Owen Dr., Madison, with Msgr. Ken Fiedler officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
