Janice Betty Spaeth

Janice Betty (Jan) Spaeth, 74, of Beaver Dam, Wis., passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at University Hospital in Madison. She was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on June 17, 1944 to Dominic (Don) Carlos Guarniere and Dorothy Mae (nee Schmidt). She was united in marriage to Ralph Spaeth on Oct. 5, 1968, and resided in Hartford, Wis. Preceding her in death are her parents; her beloved husband, Ralph; dear brother, Salvatore "Sully" Dominic Guarniere. Jan is survived by her daughter, Jo Ellyn (David) Hetzer of Oak Creek, Wis.; sons, Bruce (Penny) Spaeth of Nevada and Chad (Jen Baugniet) Spaeth of Slinger; and her grandchildren, Kayla, Cameron, and Meredith. She is further survived by her sister, Georgia Horetzki of Beaver Dam; as well as other family members and friends. Jan had a special love and gift for nurturing and caring for small animals, and she will be missed by her cat Boomer.
