Janet B. Zurbuchen

VERONA – Janet Zurbuchen, age 68 of Verona, died the morning of Oct. 5, 2009, surrounded by her loved ones. Janet was born in Mt. Horeb to Helen and Huldreich Zurbuchen. Janet was fondly known as “Janie” or “Janie Pants” by her 14 nieces and nephews, and 19 great nieces and nephews. She always had a loving smile and a kind word for everyone. Janet has been an active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 50 years, and was currently attending the Madison South Congregation. Her love for her God, Jehovah, the ministry, and fellow Christian brothers and sisters was evident to all. Janet’s greatest gifts, among many, were her sincere kindness and appreciation for her friends and family. Janet expected little and gave so much. She is survived by her siblings; Roger (Cora) Zurbuchen, Gary (Jo Ann) Zurbuchen, Diane (Ted) Smith and Judy Zurbuchen. A memorial service will be held at the KINGDOM HALL OF JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES, 3082 Herman Rd., Fitchburg on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial.
