James P. Lennon

James Patrick Lennon, age 61, passed away Nov. 20, 2008, at his home. He was born Nov. 21, 1946, in Milwaukee to James and Viola (Henne) Lennon. Upon graduating from high school he joined the United States Marine Corps, before attending UW-Oshkosh. He worked for the University of Wisconsin from 1977 to 1992. He married Patricia Meyer on Sept. 25, 1976 in Shawano. James will be fondly remembered for his love of fishing, the Packers, photography, bowling and his great sense of humor. One of his favorite activities was camping and spending time with his daughters. James is survived by his daughters, Sarah (Ken) DuBose of of Cary, Ill. and Megan (Justin Coyne) Lennon of Minneapolis, Minn.; a granddaughter, Leia DuBose at home in Cary, Ill.; his wife of many years, Patricia Lennon of Madison; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Patrick Lennon; and a sister, Kathy Garcia. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at the ALL FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL 4058 Lien Road, Madison. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial fund is being established in memory of James.
